Today, Monday the 16th, kicks off the first full week of the 2020 Kindness Festival! Incidentally, it’s also the last full week of classes in this condensed semester, and we hope everyone can benefit from some kindness as a buoy to Thanksgiving (and beyond!). Here’s a list of various possible acts of kindness you can engage in to make someone’s day a little bit brighter to make up for the sun setting a little bit earlier 😊 Please contribute any and all unique ideas to the list, and if you want to avoid having to make a decision, consider trying out the:
Kindness Festival Recommended Act of the Day:
Watch some YouTube/TV with someone! Or, share your Netflix with them.
Time commitment:Â 30 seconds for giving access, 30 minutes for watching.
Additionally, coming up we have the annual Campus-Wide Holiday Gift Exchange, where you get randomly paired with another participating Tiger with whom you’ll exchange thoughtful, personal gifts. Everyone interested should fill out this form in advance, and if possible attend the virtual event at 8:00pm EST on Friday, November 20th at this link to meet your partner! Furthermore, look out for information about opportunities to collaborate with other clubs such as Knitflix in order to craft a gift with your own hands! Until then, keep calm and exude kindness!
